DETERMINED AND MALLEABLE. Peter Parker strives for whatever he sets his sights on — whether it's excelling at school or lifting tons upon tons of debris off him or the people around him, he's never one to back away from danger or a challenge (unless, y'know, it's a teenaged party; leave him alone). He does a pretty damn good job at bouncing back from a shitty situation in his life.

KIND-HEARTED AND COMPASSIONATE. 'Help' is all-encompassing to this kid; he can help find your dog, give you instructions, make sure you're not getting murdered by a super-villain, whatever. He has a huge heart and wants to protect, wants to be of use. Ask him to help change a tire, he'll be there in five seconds despite never having changed a tire in his life. This kid thrives off love and companionship and affection. He is strictly no-kill and will save even a villain who has attempted to kill him multiple times.

FUNNY AND SMART. Even in a grim situation, he often finds a quip or two, and more than that, he's just by nature someone who enjoys joking around and being a goofball. But not just any goofball — a smart one. He's designed his own webbing material and excels at school with that big dopey brain of his, earning honor classes and key seats in decathlons. In both Civil War and Infinity War, he also lays out strategies inspired by pop culture that perfectly function in performance. It's ridiculous.

weaknesses:

RECKLESS AND IMPULSIVE. Peter can be reckless, at this stage of his career as a hero. In canon, he can be seen jumping the gun often, which can result in digging himself into even more of a ditch than when he first started. He's smart and has decent plans when he stops to think about it, but his impulsive personality can sometimes mess that up entirely.

LACKING EXPERIENCE AND EASILY PRESSURED. Peter is a baby hero, as much as he hates to admit it, and thanks to his pride he often dismisses this fact. He's only barely figured out even a portion of how his spider suit works and is not often faced with big-time threats. The Vulture was his first real foot-wetting experience, and it was one that shook him to his core and humbled him. Often he's seen wanting to be in the favor or someone, to fit in, to be more than just the social outcast — he wants to be viewed as important to the team, which often leads him into rookie mistakes.

CHILDISH AND AWKWARD. The kid's gone through a lot and has matured quickly in some respects, but in others he's still just an aggravating teenager who hasn't found himself yet — he's also someone who wears his emotions on his sleeve and staggers over interactions he's by no means confident in. Hilariously (or maybe tragically), his awkward, less confident demeanor is quickly remedied by putting on the costume and being Spider-Man. He's also still a little clumsy as Spider-Man. Working the kinks out on how to be 'cool'.
